Junk removal questions, answered
Price, windows, what we take and what happens after you book. If the answer is a number it is on the price list, and if it is about a specific item it is on that service page.
How much does junk removal cost in Vancouver and Portland?
Our online prices start at $99 for a single small item and run to $739 for a full 16 cubic yard truck. Single items like a mattress ($99), couch ($119) or refrigerator ($129) are fixed. The price you see when you book is the price you pay unless you add items.
Do you charge by volume or weight?
By volume for household junk. Heavy material like concrete, dirt, roofing and tile is quoted by the load because stations charge by the ton.
What is the minimum?
$99 online, $119 if you book by phone.
The item is already on my porch. Is it cheaper?
One item already on the porch, driveway or curb is the $99 minimum online, whatever the piece. You do not have to be home; leave it accessible and we send photos with the invoice. Hot tubs and heavy material are quoted separately.
How soon can you come?
The next available window shows on every page and in the booking flow. Windows are 2 hours, and we call when we are 30 minutes out.
What do you not take?
Paint, solvents, chemicals, propane, asbestos, ammunition and medical waste. We point you to county household hazardous waste days.
Where does my junk go?
Donation partners first, then recycling (mattresses and electronics in Oregon are free to recycle through Metro), then the county transfer station. We give you a donation receipt when a partner issues one.
Is there a difference between Washington and Oregon prices?
No. The same prices apply on both sides of the river. Washington prices include the 3.6% solid-waste collection tax; Oregon has no sales tax.
Are you licensed and insured?
Licensed and insured. Our Washington UBI is 606 272 670, which you can look up yourself in the state business registry. General liability and commercial auto are in force. We email the certificate of insurance when you book, or sooner if you ask for it.
Do I have to be home?
No. Leave the items accessible and we send before and after photos with the invoice.
Can I get a quote by text?
Yes. Text photos to our number and we reply with a price from the same list.
Do you offer same-day junk removal?
When a 2-hour window is still open today, yes. The booking calendar shows today's windows live and marks the taken ones, so you can see whether same-day is available before you give us a name. We need 2 hours of lead time, so a window starting sooner than that is closed. If today is full the soonest open window is always the first one shown.
